1/2 Way Hidden is a series of paintings in which I use hands as a symbol to help show the hidden aspects within each one of us. Some things are difficult to share and placing the hands over part of a face distances the person from others. Both the face and the hands reveal so much about ourselves and this series shows our reluctance to share all of ourselves. I use oils on canvas or canvas board with blending.
